Member of Parliament and the Deputy Leader of the opposition Sajith Premadasa, had taken steps to set up an organizational network island wide by carrying off the name of the musical show called “Sa”. Victor Ratnayake had been conducting a musical show called “Sa” over the past number of decades and now it is going to be an alternative organizational network of the UNP, called the ‘S’ organization which is to named by Sajith Premadasa using the first letter of his name Sajith.
Due to the current conflict of opinions in the UNP, Sajith Premadasa is going to break the party in to two and take all his followers and members into a new organization district-- wise called “S” in order to strengthen their power together.
The critics’ idea is that the UNP and the “S” parties will have factions in the future at the time of future elections and thus the votes are bound to be split into two.
